Yo - It's Been A While!

Sorry guys! I've been CRAZY busy! I just got back from a work conference at the coast this past week, and I went back to work the next day after traveling, so just in this week I was tired. You can imagine, since I've been just as busy every other week for the past month and a half.

I'm pretty sure I talked about the other job I applied for in one of my last posts. I did get to interview for it... but I didn't get it :( but that's okay, my boss and my boss' boss were very happy to keep me... But I'm really just kind of annoyed because I counted the other day that I have 12 major responsibilities at my job, while others in my department only have around 4 or 5, and we're getting paid about the same. I know I'd be pushing my luck to ask for a raise only at year 2, but I for sure will in another year or so once I get more comfortable. Both my boss AND his boss said they would want me to be their assistants, so if either position opens up, I'll apply for them! If both open up, I guess they'll just have to fight for me :)

Uh... Hell, I don't even know what else to talk about. Oat came back from his parent's today to bring MORE HAND ME DOWN FURNITURE into our house. I swear. It's so crowded now. I'm happy to have all this nice (actual wood) furniture! But what on Earth are we going to do with it all? There IS a big area-wide yard sale happening in about 3 weeks, so if I don't want some of this stuff I can try to sell it. And speaking of selling stuff, I somehow lucked out and made $22 at Plato's Closet today. They're known for not giving any money to anybody, so I felt lucky!

Anyways, I guess I'll come back here when I have more to say! Until then, toodles~
