Creepy Crawlin' Through The Weeks

This title doesn't make sense unless you know about the tattoo I just recently got 2 weekends ago.



She's such a cute tarantula, right? But why exactly did I get a tarantula tattooed on myself? It's MOSTLY in honor of Madam Octa from the Cirque Du Freak series... Although I think she's supposed to be red and blue. I am not tattooing a Spiderman-colored spider on my body! So, she had to be colors that went with me better... Plus, out of all the spiders, I like tarantulas most. I'm actually afraid of spiders, so that makes it kinda funny! My mom is really confused by my choice.

I can't believe that was 2 weeks ago already! It was a weekend after the 5 day break from work I had for my birthday, then the next weekend after the tattoo (last weekend) I had a 4 day weekend for Independence Day (that was all a mouth-ful of "weeks")... So this week I'm having a hard time being back at work. Although I do get to go to my hometown this weekend for my cousin's baby shower. We'll stay at my mom's, and I took off next Monday so I don't have to drive back after the baby shower Sunday night (WHY is she having it Sunday night?!). Mom works on Monday and so does Oat, so I'll get to work on homework and these stupid work credentials that I was "gifted" after my workshop last month! I've completed about 7 of them - passed 6 (I get 1 more try on the one I failed), but with that one I failed, that means I still have 7 more to go (¬_¬") They each take like 1-1.5 hours to complete, so it's SO MUCH!

Speaking of so much - our LAST MBA class started the other week too, so we're already back at it with homework and lecture videos and bullshit. I am so done with class! Mostly because work is amping up and getting really busy. So, there may be a point where I disappear from posts for a while, but that's okay! This isn't even going live for a while since I'm updating my site locally on my computer! Hell, it may be like... October before you guys see the new site!

Anyways, in these past weeks I also went to the dentist. Turns out after having that "weird tooth" removed, I have a cavity where it was laying right up against my molar. No wonder that thing hurts! So, this very morning at 8:00 (I'm typing this at like 6:30 AM) I have to go for a filling. Fun!

I've also had a constant headache for a few days because I'm wearing my old glasses... I went to the eye doctor thankfully last week to get a new perscription and order new contacts. My last pair RIPPED on Monday! So, I gotta wear these old things until the contacts come in. Turns out one of my eyes' astigmatism got like 1.50 points worse in the past 2 years ( ._. )"" I don't know if that should worry me, or what. I bet it's from having to stare at a screen all day for work.



In other news, I got myself wrapped up in a boudoir photoshoot coming up in October... That's nerve racking! We'll see if it's a scam come time to get the photos done... I don't think it is. It's like a 3 hour drive away from me though (ugh), so Oat and I are going to make a "historical" trip out of it. I say that, because the area where the studio is has a lot of battlegrounds and such. There's also a haunted prison that they've turned into apartments(!!) that I've wanted to go check out for years! Back when I thought we were going to live in NOVA (I was delulu as they say), I was scoping this place out, because I always wanted to live somewhere haunted... So anyways, at least that will be fun! The photoshoot itself only cost $99 for them to do my hair and makeup and do the photos. I get a free print, and then I pay out the wazoo later for more prints if I want them. Sometime next month I have to buy the lingerie I'll be wearing in these photos... I feel like I always get myself into such weird predicaments =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪‧̣̥̇)
